Chinese Humanoid Robot Stuns World with Unbelievably Smooth Movements
In a groundbreaking demonstration at Guangzhou’s AI Day, Chinese electric vehicle and robotics company Xpeng Motors unveiled their latest humanoid robot, IRON, whose movements were so lifelike that the company had to slice the robot open to prove no human was inside.

The H2 is capable of performing complex movements such as pirouettes and karate moves, thanks to its 31 joints and advanced control systems.
At the 2025 World Robot Conference, China showcased a range of innovative humanoid robots, including the Walker S2, which can swap its own batteries in under three minutes without human assistance. These robots are designed for a variety of applications, from industrial work to service roles, and are equipped with sophisticated AI systems that allow them to operate independently or in teams.
