Rudy Giuliani Released From Hospital Following New Hampshire Car Crash

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani was released from the hospital on Monday after sustaining multiple injuries in a car crash on Interstate 93 in Manchester, New Hampshire, over the weekend.

The crash occurred late Saturday night when the vehicle Giuliani was riding in—a rented Ford Bronco driven by his spokesperson Ted Goodman—was rear-ended by a Honda HR-V driven by a 19-year-old woman named Lauren Kemp. All three individuals involved in the crash were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to New Hampshire State Police, the sequence of events leading to the crash was unusual. Giuliani and Goodman had stopped on the southbound side of I-93 after being flagged down by a woman reporting a domestic violence incident. After rendering assistance and contacting 911, they waited with the woman until law enforcement arrived. Subsequently, they exited the highway, turned around, and were traveling northbound on I-93 when their vehicle was struck almost directly opposite the initial stopping location.

Giuliani’s spokesperson Michael Ragusa reported that the former mayor suffered a fractured thoracic vertebra, multiple lacerations and contusions, along with injuries to his left arm and lower leg. Despite these injuries, Giuliani was released from hospital care by Monday evening.

Authorities are investigating whether the crash was caused by distraction or curiosity related to the earlier roadside incident. No charges have been filed in connection with the collision, which police describe as a non-targeted accident.

Prior to the crash, Giuliani attended a New Hampshire Fisher Cats baseball game in Manchester. His involvement in assisting a domestic violence victim immediately before the crash has been noted by his security team and state police.

This incident has garnered attention given Giuliani’s high-profile status and the dramatic circumstances surrounding the crash. State police continue to review video footage obtained at the scene to further clarify the accident dynamics.
